On August 9th, 2024, the tiny village of Trastanello was transformed into an unforgettable celebration of art and music, thanks to local artist Sophie Dickens. In a heartfelt gesture to her community, Sophie brought her sculptures and paintings out of the studio and into the narrow, winding streets of the hamlet she calls home.

For one magical evening, Trastanello’s ancient walls and rustic corners became the backdrop for a living exhibition. Her expressive works were placed throughout the village, inviting visitors to wander, explore, and experience art in an open and deeply personal setting.

Adding to the atmosphere, renowned musicians Alex Smith and Jesper Bodilsen performed live, filling the summer air with music that echoed through the valley.
